Call to Artists
7th Annual Rocky Ripple
Festival
in Hohlt Park
Saturday, September 30, 2006
11:00 a.m. -
6:00 p.m.
Who We
Are:
We
are a grass roots Music, Arts and Crafts festival in the park that is free to the
public. Rocky Ripple is an eclectic community in the heart of lndianapolis, between Butler University and Broad Ripple,
bordered by the White River and the Canal. Our community park is family friendly
with play equipment, a picnic shelter, and lot of grassy space to run, play and
lay on.
Who Participates:
Artists
and craftsmen who set up booths to sell their Wares. We've
learned over
the years that our festival does not yet draw a "Fine Arts"
crowd and that items appealing to impulsive, spontaneous
buying are the most popular. Also, you may not want to forget the
enthusiasm and buying power of youth. They love to shop.
. . and BUY!
Added Perks:
It's an opportunity to
enjoy a beautiful fall day in the park while selling
your art
and crafts. Listen to live music, eat good food (Inexpensive!)
prepared and sold by the Rocky Ripple Community Association. New this year is
a beer and wine vendor!
Guidelines:
Join us! Add
your creativity to the Rocky Ripple Festival of the Arts. Tell your
friends. All festival proceeds benefit
the Rocky Ripple parks fund.
